Shepherd of the Hills is a non-denominational Christian
church in southern California with a purpose to lift up Christ that the
world might believe (John 3:14, 15; 12:32)! Our church does ministry
through small home groups called LIFE! Groups, which are geared to encourage
and challenge members to live out Jesus’ mission in them (2 Corinthians
5:17) and through them (Matthew 28:19-20).
In order to meet our goals with groups, we have LIFE!
Group series throughout the year. These series include a weekend sermon
at Shepherd, a teaching
DVD based on the sermon topic, and study guides for group discussion.
We have found that this format helps groups grow closer to each other
and Jesus, building new leaders, and reaching out the community.
